The idea came from Joris de Wit, who was leading our former WordPress Agency WebUser, which we sold in 2016. Joris wanted to move away from IT, but we realized this update tool could be interesting. The first development of our Automated WordPress Software came from game developer Sem Wong. Sem is now WPuppy’s lead developer, leading a team of 4 developers.
WebUser was focusing on wordpress development and design for 6 years (2010-2016) and managed hundreds of websites. It took more and more maintenance to keep all websites safe from hacking and up to date. The development took almost two years, because it was far more complicated than we could imagine.
Over the last months we developed and tested further. And now WPuppy, unique WordPress security software, is born and will be officially internationally launched April 2017.
